A word about surplus items
The word surplus covers all sorts of items. The main thing to remember is that surplus items are available only until stocks are exhausted and the offer is rarely repeatable.
We get surplus items from a variety of sources.
Most items of this nature are just surplus to manufactures requirements, they may be components left over at the end of production runs that are not required for future projects. They may be part finished products (sub assemblies left over when products are changed). They may even be finished product that has been superceded. Other sources of surplus items are companies which go out of business or distributors who are overstocked and need to clear some space.
Occasionally we might get returned or ex-equipment parts and these will be identified as such.
Many of these surplus items are of higher spec than those normally available to hobbyists but at low prices, often far below their cost price, and so represent exceptional value for money!
This means that they sell out quickly so keep checking our "Just in" section or sign up to our email newsletter to make sure you don't miss out.
